Lechon Bolong

Stuffed banana blossom wrapped in leaves and roasted.

⏱ Prep: 30 min ⏱ Cook: 45 min

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Banana blossom, inner leaves
  • 300 g Ground pork
  • 4 pcs Garlic, minced
  • 1 pcs Onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 6 pcs Banana leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Drop in the garlic, onion and sauté just until they soften.

  2. Wrap pork filling in banana blossom leaves.

  3. Wrap each bundle in banana leaves and tie securely.

  4. Roast or grill for 40 minutes. Serve with spicy sauce.
