Humba (Pork)
Cantonese-style pork belly braised in soy and sugar sauce.
Instructions
Blanch pork belly in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.
In a pot, combine soy sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, onion, star anise, ginger, and wine.
Add pork and water. Bring to boil, then simmer covered for 1.5 hours.
Uncover and reduce sauce. Slice and serve.
