Hoisin Glazed Grilled Tofu

Tofu marinated and grilled to perfection — smoky, charred, and succulent. A Filipino barbecue-style preparation.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz. extra firm tofu (
  • 1.25 cup hoisin sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine hoisin sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Brush the mixture all over the tofu to coat. Let it stand for 1 hour.

  3. Grill the tofu in medium heat for about 10 minutes per side. Baste with the remaining hoisin sauce mixture.

  4. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with steamed broccoli.

  5. Serve.
