Filipino Menudo

Ingredients

  • 0.9 kg (2 lbs) pork shoulder
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp calamansi juice
  • 0.5 tsp pepper

  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and
  • 2 large carrots peeled and
  • 1 medium red bell pepper seeded, cored, and cut into cubes
  • 1 medium green bell pepper seeded, cored, and cut into cubes
  • 3 hot dogs sliced diagonally
  • 0.2 kg (0.5 lbs) chicken liver
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped
  • 3 clove garlic peeled and minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Warm up some oil in a pan or pot on medium heat.

  2. Get pork nicely browned in the pan, then set it aside. in the pan.

  3. Add the aromatics — garlic, onion, ginger — and Cook it until fragrant.
