Kilawin

Fresh, cubed ahi tuna marinated in citrus and spices.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz fresh (or fresh frozen ahi tuna, cubed)
  • 0 Juice from 3 pieces lemon
  • 6 piece Thai chili (chopped)
  • 1.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 tsp ginger powder
  • 1.25 tsp granulated white sugar
  • 1.25 tsp salt
  • 0 ground black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, and sugar. Mix well.

  2. Place the cubed ahi tuna in a large bowl. Pour-in the lemon mixture and gently toss until all the ingredients are well blended.

  3. Add the chopped chili and ground black pepper. Gently toss. Cover and place inside the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  4. Serve chilled. Share and enjoy!
