Crockpot Beef Pares

Ingredients

  • 4 cup garlic fried rice
  • 0.25 cup chopped scallions
  • 0 Salt to taste (optional)
  • 2 large bs. top sirloin (cubed)
  • 3 clove garlic (crushed and minced)
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 4 piece star anise
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1.12 tsp ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1.5 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Combine all the crockpot ingredients in a crockpot / slow cooker. Cover and set to low heat. Slow cook for 8 hours

  2. Remove the cover. Stir. Taste and add salt (if needed).

  3. Transfer the beef pares with some sauce in a serving bowl. Top with chopped scallions. Prepare the soup by pouring 3 tablespoons of sauce in a bowl and add a cup of hot beef broth.

  4. Serve with garlic-fried rice. Share and enjoy!
