Bok Choy Guisado

Ingredients

  • 4 cup chopped baby bok choy
  • 10 piece shrimp (shell and head removed)
  • 1.25 lb. pork (sliced into small pieces)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 3.25 cup chicken stock
  • 1.25 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a cooking pan or wide cooking pot.

  2. Once the oil is hot, saute the garlic and onion.

  3. Add the pork. Cook for 10 minutes or until medium brown.

  4. Put-in the shrimp. Stir and cook for 3 minutes.

  5. Add the bok choy. Stir-fry for 3 to 5 minutes.

  6. Pour-in the chicken broth, fish sauce, and ground black pepper. Let boil. Cook for 5 minutes.

  7. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with white rice.
